Abstract

This is a course addition of an upper level Communications elective that can fulfill the writing intensive requirement. Additionally, this course could serve as a bridge between COMM 201 and LS 489 in its attention to reading and writing about ethical issues in society. The focus on the environment makes it particularly useful for students in the biological sciences as well as students in the GREEN program. The focus on communicating science to public audiences situates this course as an important asset to students across the university
