Abstract
This document is a report written by NCA: North Central Association after their initial accreditation visit on March 29-31, 1982 to General Motors Institute after its separation from GM. This was a Comprehensive Evaluation Visit. Recommendations from NCA: a full comprehensive visit in five years (1986-1987) due to the sweeping changes in the institution.
There is also the original proposal for the Masters in Science of Manufacturing Management (MSMM) with details for the videotaping aspect of the program. A focus visit for 1983 was recommended to evaluate General Motors Institute's request for a MSMM.
