Abstract

Summary of changes and rationale

The following changes are being implemented:

  • Removal of CHEM 247 as a course requirement for the Applied Biology Program

  • Decrease in the number of required Advanced Biology Elective Credits from 12 to 10 credits for the Applied Biology Program

  • Change credit hours for upper division lab courses BIOL 362, BIOL 382, BIOL 442, and BIOL 491L from 2 credits to 3 credits

  • Change in the number of required courses to accommodate for the increase in lab credits

  • Revision of BIOL 494

  • Creation of new service course: BIOL 143 –

  • Minor course change to Biol 481 to become Biol 351
