Abstract
The Operations Management Certificate currently requires the following courses:
- MGMT 619 – Project Management
- MGMT 609 - Technology Management
- IME 676 – Lean Six Sigma
The proposed change would clarify that MGMT 661-Operations Management is a requirement of the concentration, but that students who are already required to take that course in their program core requirements should take IME 676 Lean Six Sigma as the third course in the OM Certificate. (Students who are in the MSOM program are not eligible for this choice as MGMT 661 is a core course in the program.)
