Abstract
This report is a summary of a much more detailed analysis of Kettering University’s instructional expenditures undertaken by the Resource Committee on behalf of the FacultySenate. In this summary, and in the more detailed analysis, we compare Kettering University to a set of peer institutions with respect to instructional expenditures. The peer institutions were obtained from U.S. News and World Report (USNWR) of America’s Best Colleges, 2009 ed. – Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs. The list contains private institutions (public schools omitted) of rank 27 or better.
