Abstract

Create course to support Graduate Student internship participation:

Objective of this course is to provide real world problem solving opportunities to graduate students, allowing the student to apply knowledge gained from academic studies in a full-time work environment. Students are individually supervised by faculty. Course Syllabus will typically require an evaluation from the corporate sponsor and a paper from the student that demonstrates how the internship assignment was integral to their major, and met the following academic objectives: understanding the scope and overarching goals of the assignment, competency in analytical skills, understanding ethical conduct, and demonstrated curiosity about project and value creation. Graded S/U
